Sarah Meyer Tapia, PhD, is the Head of the Stress Management Pillar of Stanford Lifestyle Medicine and leads the high school summer program for SLM. She is a Wellness Specialist for the Distinguished Careers Institute at Stanford University, and lectures across the university. Sarah creates classrooms, communities, and environments that support both high achievement and holistic wellbeing. At Stanford since 2013, she’s worked in both employee and student wellness teaching stress-management, behavior change, meditation, and compassion. Sarah earned her graduate degree in Counseling and Health Psychology from Santa Clara University where she received the research excellence grant for her work teaching mindfulness. She earned her doctorate in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology. Sarah believes our best work (and best living) comes from exploring our curiosity and expressing ourselves authentically.
