Dr. Tala Khalaf is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and fellowship-trained manual therapist with over 25 years of experience specializing in complex musculoskeletal and myofascial pain. She is an advanced clinician and senior physical therapist at Stanford’s Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic in Redwood City, where she also co-developed the Stanford Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency curriculum.

Dr. Khalaf serves as a board member of the Physical Therapy Board of California, where she helps shape professional practice guidelines, licensure standards, and public protection policy through an evidence-based lens.

She is the Co-Founder and CEO of PhysioHand Inc., leading the development of TheraFascia™a shear-based fascial manipulation device integrated with an AI-powered treatment app designed to personalize, advance, and avail access for fascia evidence-based care.

Through her concierge practice, Dr. Khalaf supports executives and athletes across Silicon Valley. Her approach is rooted in treating the whole person—addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction while tailoring care plans to each individual’s lifestyle, goals, and long-term health. She emphasizes movement, fascia health, and proactive strategies to support vitality and longevity.
